Orysha Maximchuk, RD

Educator

Orysha holds her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Alberta (2003) and graduated from the Integrated Internship program with Capital Health.

Over the past 5 years, she has specialized in pediatric nutrition at the Stollery Children’s Hospital and more recently focusing on the nutrition health of school-aged children in the community. She also had the opportunity to work in the community with Alberta Milk.

Orysha believes nutrition should be simple, practical and easily integrated into daily routines. She has a keen interest in pediatrics and sports nutrition. In her spare time, she enjoys running, both leisurely and competitively, yoga and always looking for new sporting activities. She loves to travel and looking forward to the next adventure abroad.
